So about a week ago I was talking with my sis-in-law and she mentioned how she wished she had had pictures done when my first nephew was born. I had originally planned on visiting later on, but when she asked if I could come and photograph the family with the new little addition I jumped at the chance. I never make last minute plane plans like this, but now I know why others do it. Living in the moment and not regretting takes a bit of spontaneity. So off I went!

We picked the early morning since the littles are early birds, plus we could sneak in the session before my brother had to be to work. It's rare for me to get the chance to work at dawn. It's pure magic. It isn't very often that clients are game for the morning golden hour. Because it's a rare opportunity the images have their own serene feel, when no one else is up and about. Sticking close to home just made it that much more special.

I am telling you, mornings are spectacular! If you wanna take things to another notch, meet with your photographer when the dew is thick and fog lazy. Oh, and aren't my nephews precious? Little O loves to cuddle and Little I is super chill.

This little series is my FAV. I have a few others too. Little O's Titi Liz was there to give a little prompting. I can't take all the credit. She was sure a good help! Our nephews are set. They have the BEST aunts. I am bias, I know.
